HOW DO I CALCULATE MY ORDER?
Utmost offers a discount off of the listed pricing for all Rainshadow, Immortal, Eternity and Revelation blanks, Alps and Forecast components, Pacific Bay catalog items, as well as U-40 & Flex Coat products. Contact us and we will be happy to calculate your order for you or work up a quote. Closeout items and monthly specials are not subject to any further discounts. All prices are subject to change without notice. Utmost is unable to offer a discount on orders that total less than $10.00 before tax & shipping. Orders totalling less than $10.00 are processed at our discretion.
WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A SHOPPING CART ON YOUR WEBSITE?
Great question! We have debated the addition of a shopping cart for a long time and have come to the conclusion that we are not willing to give up the one-on-one, personal relationship we have with our customers. We custom fit every tip top, winding check, reel seat and handle to your rod set-up. If you give us a call, send a fax, or submit your order by email, we are able to give you the personal attention you deserve.
I READ/HEARD YOU ARE BATSONS' RETAIL STORE, RIGHT?
Utmost is not Batsons' retail store. In 1993, after a 20 year career in real estate, Mick Batson, the owner of Utmost Enterprises, began selling seconds and discontinued rod blanks, as well as closeout and overstock components at the suggestion of his brother, Bob Batson. As many people in the industry are aware, Bob passed away on Mothers Day in 2003, just two short years after he founded Batson Enterprises in Sequim, Washington. It was after the loss of his brother that Mick, along with several other family members, moved to Sequim in order to be near family. Utmost has remained independently owned and operated by Mick Batson for over 20 years.
YOUR "COMPETITOR" LISTS ITEMS FOR LESS, WHY?
The manufacturers we represent ask us to list their suggested retail prices and we honor their request. Utmost Enterprises is unique in that our physical location is within blocks of both Pacific Bay and Batson Enterprises which gives us quick access to any items we may not have on hand when you place your order.
Please note: If you call after 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time and reach our voicemail, please leave a message as we are either at the post office, helping customers in our retail store or running errands and we will have an opportunity to check messages the following morning. If you hang up without leaving your name and phone number, we have no way of knowing you've called.

We must have a CURRENT copy of your resale/business license ON FILE prior to your opening order. We are unable to offer wholesale pricing without a copy of your FISHING related license.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. In order to obtain the best discount, we must have your resale permit/business license on file if you have one. If you don't have a resale permit - you still qualify for a discount! We are unable to offer discounts on orders that total less than $10.00 retail (prior to any discounts being applied.)
All orders are shipped prepaid. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, debit cards and PayPal. Our minimum order is $10.00 after all discounts have been applied and prior to shipping being calculated. Please make every attempt to order more than one small item. While we do everything we can to help our customers and understand there are times you may only need one small tip top or guide to finish a project, please understand we cannot offer a discount if your order is less than $10.00 and we will process them at our discretion. If you are unsure if your order meets the minimum, let us know and we would be happy to do a quote for you.
We accept international orders and process at our discretion. Due to the high cost of fees imposed by our credit card merchant processor and the time involved filling out customs forms, we are unable to offer our normal discounts to orders shipped outside of the United States. Our minimum order (prior to shipping) is $50.00. If, at any time, you ask that we devaluate the cost of an order to avoid import fees, we will not respond to you nor will we sell to you. We will never fraudulently file any customs/export forms in violation of US laws so please do not ask if you are serious about purchasing products from us.
We primarily ship via U.S. Priority Mail. On occasion, we ship via Federal Express. We charge ACTUAL shipping costs only on all Priority Mail and Federal Express packages. We obtain a quote from both FedEx and the US Postal Service prior to shipping in order to get the best prices for our customers on odd shaped and heavy shipments. Ground shipping charges on backorders of three pounds or less will be paid by Utmost Enterprises.
We charge actual shipping costs for orders sent via Priority Mail and Federal Express within the United States - there are no extra or hidden handling fees. Postage for orders weighing less than one pound shipped via 1st Class mail are charged a FLAT FEE OF $3.50 for shipping.
We are asked quite often if there is an extra charge for oversized (over 72") blanks. Both the USPS and FedEx apply different surcharges based on your zip code and the zone your delivery address is located in. You can calculate estimated shipping charges here: http://postcalc.usps.gov/. We ship from the Carlsborg, Washington post office zip code 98324.
Delivery of stock items is approximately 1 - 5 working days. Upon receipt of your order, we can usually provide you with an estimated arrival date in one to three working days. Non-stock items are usually ordered and received by us within 24-48 hours, subject to availability from our vendors. We are unable to return items ordered for you from Pacific Bay without facing a $20 restock fee. Please make every effort to ensure you are ordering correctly.
Claims for shortages must be reported within ten (10) days of receipt of merchandise. Items found to be missing or broken after the ten (10) day period has expired are subject to return/replacement at the discretion of Utmost Enterprises. Please, make sure to check all shipments when they arrive and let us know right away if there is a problem.
Returns will not be accepted after 30 days from date of invoice. Except for warranty consideration, special order items not listed in the current catalog are not returnable and will not be accepted for return. Closeout sale items are not returnable unless broken in shipment or found to be defective.
Claims on merchandise damaged in transit must be reported to us immediately. We are responsible for filing claims with our courier. This will avoid the delay incurred by refusing the shipment, as you will be able to call us immediately regarding replacement of the damaged items.
